Unboxing and Design

In the box we get EarFun EH100, 1.3m earphone cable, 1 pair red ring sound tuning nozzles, 5x ear tips for different size, a user manual and then a carry case to carry the earphone without damaging the cable or pin. That’s all what we get in the box, and Overall it comes with good packaging.

The build quality of the earbuds is good; they are not made of plastic but come with a silver shell. The CNC machining is done by hand polishing.

When I first held them, I felt their weight and appreciated their build quality. They are not as light as typical wireless earbuds, but the construction is really impressive.

We have a 1.3-meter silver-plated cable, and the quality is good—not cheap. However, one thing I noticed is that it doesn’t have any buttons or a microphone on the cable, though there are upgrade options available for a microphone or Bluetooth. Overall, I liked the design and build quality, which costs $99 for wired earphones.

They come with features like a detachable cable, so if your cable gets damaged, you don’t need to replace the whole earphone—just order another cable and then connect the earbuds with the new wire, and you’re good to enjoy your listening experience.

Comfort

As far comfort, the earbuds are not light, but their wires are designed to curve from top allowing you to wear them over your ears. This design makes the earbuds feel quite light, and because of it, they do not fall out of your ears even when you are running or working out.

They fit easily my ears, and if you have any trouble with the fit, you can change the ear tips provided in the box to suit your needs. I have been enjoying music with the EarFun EH100 for the past two weeks and have not experienced any issues with comfort or fitting.

Sound Quality

EarFun EH100 has 10mm bio-diaphragm and 6.8mm liquid crystal diaphragm dynamic coils and is Hi-Res Audio certified, which means it reproduces 3x audio detail and gives top-notch sound quality.

As wired earphones, we do not have any ANC features, but we do have tuning nozzles for Balanced and Ambient options for two different sound profiles.

In the above image, you can see the tuning nozzles: the one with the red ring is for Ambient, and the black ring nozzle is for balanced sound.

Based on my personal experience, I tried both one by one. The Balance nozzle provides good sound quality with proper bass and boost.

When listening to music on full volume, the sound quality is such that you can still hear voices around you, and the sound does not blast; it’s clear and crisp.

Overall, the sound quality is good with both tuning nozzles, offering clear, crisp audio with good bass or treble.

Downgrade

The downgrade I notice is the buttons and mic. The EarFun EH100 lacks options for volume up or down, or even a pause or play button, which are very useful for wired earphones. These features help us avoid pulling out our device every time we want to change the track or pause the music.

Another important thing is that it also lacks mic options. When enjoying music while working and someone calls you, you can’t talk with the earphones or take calls because they don’t have a mic. You need to pull out the earphones to take your call.

I realized it lacks these important specs at the price of $99, but you do have the option to upgrade. If you want a mic or Bluetooth, you can upgrade the wire and get those features.

Final Thought

So, the EH100 is EarFun’s 5th anniversary special wired earphones, featuring a 10mm bio-diaphragm and 6.8mm liquid crystal diaphragm dynamic coils.

They use handmade silver-plated copper for audio and also come with silver-plated cables, with options to upgrade for a mic, Bluetooth, and tuning nozzles for different sound profiles.

However, they lack features like volume control buttons, a pause/play button, and a mic, which are important for taking calls, especially at the price of $99.

One thing I want to mention is that you do have budget options to get Earfun wireless earbuds that provide all the necessary features.

However, if you want to enjoy music without worrying about the buds falling out of your ears or connection issues, the EH100 provides a comfortable fit for long hours of listening.

You won’t need to worry about them falling off, making them a solid choice for those who prioritize stability and sound quality over convenience features.
